How to prepare before the Spirit Talks session?

Take some time to think about an intention for the session or if there are certain questions that are keeping you up at night or that you would like to ask the spirit world. This may include specific issues or areas of concern that are on your mind.

As you go to sleep the night before, you may want to invite any ancestors or loved ones that have crossed to be present with you. You may also choose to do a general calling out to all your good, true and beautiful ancestors, as well as your spirit guides, angels, or other spiritual beings that are here to guide you on your path, inviting them to be with you in Spirit.

For the call, please be in a private space without interruptions. Bring a notebook and pen, so that you can make notes or write down any messages that you receive as well. We will send out the link for the camera off zoom call the day before your appointment.

We ask that you refrain from any alcohol or drug use for at least 24 hours before the call. Also, we recommend that you hydrate sufficiently before and after the session.

What happens during a Spirit Talks session?

For approximately the first 15 minutes of the call, we will invite you to share what is on your mind and what is the most pressing in your life right now. We may ask some clarifying questions to draw out root issues and relative emotions. If there are those in the unseen that you hope to talk to or have questions for, this is a good time to mention them by name. Often, simply identifying them beforehand, is enough to call them in. However, there are no guarantees on who will show up. Trusting in the process, which includes which unseen that come to speak and the specific messages received, is integral to the meaningfulness of the experience.

Next, we call in the unseen, which includes ancestors, others who have crossed, angels, guides, and other benevolent beings. We create a protected space and only call in those who are here for our highest good. We listen to hear who all is wanting to come in on your behalf. Typically, there are 2 to 4 separate energies that will prioritize speaking. After we determine who will be providing messages, the divine creates an ideal order. From experience, we have learned that the unseen often listen to each other as they speak so the order has meaning.

At this time, we will listen in order to the messages and capture them in writing. You may choose to participate by listening and writing messages, doodling, drawing, meditating and/or paying attention to feelings, sounds and visions. Make notes even if you feel unsure about what you are sensing. Use your imagination as it is powerful and will provide a direct line to the unseen. We will be muted as we write our messages, until each of us is complete.

After each message is received, we will share and reflect upon the message. We will follow this process until all messages have been completed. After the last message, there may be a few more minutes for final reflection and/or questions.

What should I expect from my messages?

The messages that we receive are present moment focused. Although they may refer to the past or the future, in general, we find that the focus is based in the here and now. The messages received are from those in the unseen who have come to talk to you. Messages may be received from ancestors, others who have crossed, guides, angels, and other benevolent beings/energies. Because of our interconnectedness, sometimes the messages have a universal quality and may be beneficial to others as well.

With most messages, there are actions that can be taken based on the guidance that was provided. As in any relationship, when we take that action, we are honoring and nurturing the relationship by acknowledging the gifts from the unseen.

What will happen after the Spirit Talks Session?

Within a day or two after the call, you will receive an audio recording of our session. We recommend that you download the recording so that you can listen to the messages again. Often, we find that we hear different aspects and nuances of the message the second or third time through.

Along with the recording, we will provide you with a post call survey to provide us feedback. Your sincere insight is important to us so we appreciate you taking a few minutes to respond while it is still fresh.

We encourage you to take time to reflect on the messages and set appropriate intentions and goals. Be gentle with yourself, giving yourself space to integrate the messages at your own pace. In addition, you may want to set some time aside over the coming weeks to continue to build on your new connections with the unseen.
